The moon will be at it's nearest point to the Earth of the past two decades. 356,577 kilometers away The night sky will be gorgeous, but the implications are dire. From 7pm through 1am we are taking over an intimate loft in Dumbo, Brooklyn for a night of food, music, champagne and performance presented in three parts: ~ part I ~ The Champagne Laura Lee Gulledge / Second Skin paints a dozen indiscreet performers who will be serving champagne and surprises while the music rises from deeply experimental to slightly giddy. ~ part II ~ The Hors D'oeuvre Artisan chef Ryan O'Connor prepares a five spice cacao + Madagascar bourbon vanilla desert set against early spring flowers with honey - all served to you by libertine young performers that your parents would not approve of. ~ part III ~ The Get Down Low The music rises into a visceral concert installation by Zemi17, performing in eight point surround sound on midi wind controllers, brass, various gongs, patches and electronics morphing from ambient soundscapes to the patented groves of space haus. The dance floor will be intimate but *live*. ~ cost for entry is up to you ~ Donate what you can, the proceeds pay the artists involved. RSVP Required: |
